How Much Can I Afford?

This calculator will help you get a rough estimate of what you can afford in a home and the monthly payments.

Because mortgage lending involves many factors, we recommend you contact one of our loan consultants to get a better picture of what you can afford based on your situation - in some cases you may be able to afford more, or you may need specific loan programs to suit your needs. We can help you determine the best programs, rates, and other options for your needs.

Include only amounts that are regular and likely to continue. Average your tips and commission. If you don't receive a bonus every year then don't include it.

If you are self employed or own a business your loan consultant can help you work out what your total income and debts are.

Debts

Enter the minimum amount you must pay each month for all your car loans, revolving credit (banks and department store cards) that you maintain a balance on, and any other payments such as investment mortgages, student loans or child support you must make regularly.

Do not include utilities (water, electric, phone, cellphone, cable, etc), insurance, or rent/mortgage on the home you currently live in if you will sell that home or end your lease.
